Wednesday is International Women's Day, and our local Staples store is showcasing some female entrepreneurs- come on out and visit me! I was lucky enough to get a table, and I'll be there between 10 and 2. In the spirit of meal planning and home cooking, I've got a draw set up to win those goodies and that gorgeous pot. If you can't come to my table, I'll be drawing my online guests a gift card for Walmart- so you can update your kitchen too :) Follow me on Twitter to attend virtually, ask questions, and enter the draw. I haven't done a twitter party before, but I'm excited to try! I'll be using #themealsmavenstaplesparty.
Elsewhere in the news this week, food prices are increasing...which isn't surprising to me, and has long been a driving force in why I so strongly encourage meal planning. Registered Dietitian Heidi Bates was on global news this morning, discussing some ways to eat well and save money on groceries. Here's the video.
As #themealsmaven, I'm excited to finally articulate my business as what it has always been, and expand what I love to do to include more of it. Client-centered nutritional coaching services with an emphasis on personalized meal planning and custom recipe development. I love watching people light up and reach their goals regarding food and nutrition, and offering a coaching dimension gives my clients the opportunity to really make long lasting and positive changes to their relationship with food. It's complicated, and different for everyone. That's why I am so excited to work one on one with each of my clients. We all eat, but it's a different path for everyone.
If you're ready to partner with food and change your relationship with nutrition but aren't sure where to start, it's time to ask for help.
Email me today to set up a free confidence call. Let's talk.
All of you who participated!
I'm so grateful for those of you who took the time to comment, like, or share. I'm working hard on preparing your meal plan, so expect to hear from me later today via Facebook Messaging. You've helped me gain some insight into what you find valuable and I appreciate your participation.
Facebook sometimes makes it difficult to track shares and so on. If you liked, commented, or shared before the time was up this morning and you don't hear from me by the end of the day, please message me with a screen shot of your share. I will be happy to get the goods to you!
If you liked this offer, and are interested in hearing about other free classes, paid classes, news-worthy things in the world of food, and so on, please be sure to "Like" my Facebook Page if you haven't already, and sign up for my newsletters. You can also follow me on Instagram and Twitter via @themealsmaven
Well, maybe not exactly how busy- but I have an idea, because I'm busy too. We live in a hectic, fast paced world, all of us running to the next appointment, stacking our errands together or fitting them in when we can.
What would the freedom of knowing what's for dinner feel like?
Let me give that gift to you. Over the next 24 hours, everyone who "likes" and "shares" this post on Facebook will be entered into a draw to win a complete 6 dinner meal plan- grocery list and recipes included. Comment with hashtag #6dinnersonabudget so I can track you down when I draw your name. Let's sweeten the pot- if my Facebook Page likes reach 500, I'll throw in 2 additional dinners- 2x15-minute meals- recipe and grocery list. That's 8 in total!
Are you ready? Here's an easy way to take my service for a test drive!
Hey friends...I'm on a quest to make the Perfect Plan! Everyone who completes my survey on meal planning will be entered into a draw for a Walmart gift card. Please help me out! Just click the picture to get started. And feel free to share with your friends. Open to both Canadian and American friends.
-I appreciate it!
Update: Survey Closes July 8, 2016 @ 8:00pm MDT
Did you know? On Facebook each Wednesday I post a new recipe based on the #testkitchen dinner we ate the night before. It's part of my #tuesdaysoupseries! It is weather dependent, of course, based on what it's doing outside in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta...it's mostly been soups, but as spring and summer inch closer I'll move along into sandwiches or salads too.
To get the recipe in beautiful pdf format, the only thing you have to do is show up, like the post, comment your answer to my question, and share it to your timeline or group, and I'll pm you the recipe.
If you haven't already "liked" my Facebook page, please head over there now to "like" it- then you shouldn't miss any updates! And, my weekly recipe is available right now- this is #7! To receive the others, just let me know you want them too.
Enjoy your Wednesday, friends!
Over the past couple of weeks I've been promoting a Tuesday recipe series. I post a picture of a new recipe on Tuesday night, then on Wednesday mornings offer a giveaway post- I pose a question and request a like, comment, and share on that post to receive a beautiful, printable document with the recipe directly to your inbox.
The last couple of weeks it's been soup. However, we're heading into summer- and the recipes will adjust according to what we're cooking to accommodate the weather. Look for sandwiches and salads in the near future!
If you haven't done so already, "like" my Facebook page to receive updates and notifications! And it's not too late to get the recipe for this turkey meatball soup, or the vegetable soup, either. Just look for the "Giveaway" posts, and like/comment/share.
All the best to you this weekend!
I'm so excited to launch my newsletter, and to celebrate that launch I'm offering a free gift each month for the next 4 months to those of you that subscribe!
